Coronation Garden Party

We welcomed families into Templeton House to party with their loved ones for the king's coronation. The theme for the day was “Be proud to be British and don the red, white, and blue of our Union Jack”. Our residents, relatives and team all made the effort and got dressed up for the occasion.

Templeton House had its very own throne and cardboard face cutouts of King Charles and Queen Camilla where staff and residents took turns to sit on the throne.

The kitchen prepared a lovely buffet and Union Jack cake which was complimented and enjoyed by everyone. We had entertainment from Paul Young who performed as Elvis which always goes down well with our residents!

On Friday 6th May we had a garden party to celebrate the coronation of King Charles with the garden decked out with bunting and a red white and blue balloon arch, and where family members joined their loved ones. The sun was shining and there was lots of chatter and laughter and the atmosphere was wonderful.

The residents had a fabulous afternoon dancing and singing along to the music with their loved ones and the Templeton House team.

We look forward to hosting more outdoor events now that the warmer weather is fast approaching.
