A Wonderful Visit to Synagogue

Resident Talking to Jewish Preist

Betty, one of our lovely residents at Templeton House is of Jewish faith, and this has something that has always been important to her. So, a day was arranged to visit the new Giffnock synagogue with her daughters Alexandra and Jennifer.

Betty was taken in our chauffeur driven car and when they arrived, Betty and her family had some traditional Jewish pastries and were shown around the synagogue by Rabbi Moshi Ruben.

Betty was delighted to meet Rabbi Moshi Ruben and have a chat with him. He is also planning a visit to the care home to meet up with Betty again so we can show him around our home.

A quote from Betty's Daughter on the day:

"What a truly wonderful day. Made possible by Templeton House. Big thanks also to Tommy our chauffeur for the trip and Tammy, Mum's carer for looking after her so well. Dreams really can come true!"

We are so delighted that we are able to make many dreams come true at Templeton House, Ayr. We will be continuing with this initiative to make many more of our residents' wishes come true, so watch this space.
