Proud of Our Care Inspectorate Achievement
At Templeton House, we are so proud to have received a 'Good' overall rating following our latest Care Inspectorate visit.
We held a big party for staff and residents to celebrate our grades in recognition of all the hard work and dedication the Templeton House team has achieved together in receiving wonderful feedback and scores from the Care Inspectorate.

The framework employed by the Care Inspectorate (CI) evaluates the effectiveness of a care service in terms of its support for residents' well-being, leadership, and care and support planning, as well as the quality of staff and the home environment. We are pleased to share that our latest evaluation report has awarded our care home in Ayr with an overall rating of 4, with four 4s and one 5 across these categories.
The Care Inspectorate (CI) is an independent body that inspects all health and social care services in Scotland. The Care Inspectorate ensures that care services are adhering to a high standard. The Care Inspectorate visits all care homes in Scotland and observes certain areas within the home to provide overall feedback and support with making changes if necessary.
