Templeton House Enjoy’s a Royal Celebration

Resident Enjoying Royal Celebration With Queen Cutout

Residents at Templeton House Care Home in Ayr had a fantastic time over the June bank holiday weekend and the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations were in full swing. Residents and staff made their own fascinators and floral centrepieces that were proudly worn and displayed on the day.

Everyone looked fantastic. Our ladies were dressed in their Sunday best and our ladies wore their red, white and blue fascinators. Residents enjoyed a selection of snacks and a glass of bubbly while they had a natter among one another.

Templeton House went all out for the Queen's 70 years of reign. We ordered a variety of Queen cardboard cutouts and placed them around the home. It was great to see residents reacting to seeing "the queen" in our home.

Local singer Scotty D came to visit the home and sang a collection of songs from our resident's younger days. The music provided a lively atmosphere, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed it.

Residents were gifted 70-year platinum jubilee coasters to mark the special occasion to use as a little reminder of the day.

It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all, and we look forward to hosting more events at our home soon. To find out more about the care services or facilities we provide at Templeton House, get in touch with our friendly team who will be delighted to offer their assistance.
