What We Got Up to In July
In July we saw some glorious weather here at Templeton House, and we made sure to make the most of it. Here's a little insight to what our residents got up to this month.
The ladies of Templeton House have been creating sock caterpillars for their stall at our garden summer fete - it's safe to say our ladies are very talented!
Ice creams and ice lollies were a much needed treat in the recent heat. These ladies were very happy with their ice lollies, manicured nails and fresh hair dos.
Another day, another ice cream! Our residents enjoyed a well-deserved an ice cream outside after making tea light holders for their garden party stall.
Some of our residents took part in an outside ball game, which meant focusing on their balance and hand eye coordination.
We've had a couple of musicians come to visit us and entertain our residents. live music, a sing-song and lots of dancing is the perfect Friday afternoon at Templeton House Care Home in Ayr.
A took a trip to Alloway Church for musical memories, finished off with a nice cup of tea and of course, lots of biscuits!
We endeavour to offer a varied activities programme suitable for all of our residents, no matter their age or ability. From trips out, to live music, painting and gardening that's always engaging sessions on the agenda for our residents. These activities are designed to have a positive effect on our residents mental, emotional and physical well-being so we highly encourage everyone to join in on the fun.
If you would like to find out more about the activities on offer, or for more information about our care services, get in touch with our team today who will be delighted to provide their assistance.
